Trip to Mill City Museum

This morning residents took a trip to the Mill City Museum. It was spectacular! We especially like the Flour Tower and the lookout on 9th floor. Some were daring to go out on the patio, while others just were fine staying inside and looking out the window. There was so much information we did not know about, and some information which brought back many memories. Even caught Bob designing his own cereal box …

Fun before the Fourth!

Some residents helped get ready for the 4th by painting some pallets to hang out front. Thanks to Tim our wonderful handy man they look great!! We also hung outside and enjoyed some US Trivia.

Three Rivers Park and Clay Art

Today Three Rivers Park joined us for another great afternoon! Residents learned about Minnesota’s State symbols, such as the Loon is the state bird, milk is the state drink and blueberry muffin which was proposed by a group of 4th graders is our state muffin.  We are trying to decide which should be our state mammal, don’t think the mosquito will win this one!!  Residents then made a plant stake out of clay. …
