Fishing on Lake Johanna

Monday morning eight residents took off to do a little fishing on Lake Johanna. It was a perfect morning!! Not everyone caught a fish, but we defiantly had fun. Jim caught the biggest and the smallest and Richard caught the most. I think Bernice is our new “fish whisperer” as she continued to talk to the fish. Pontoon Trip!

Today was a perfect day for a Pontoon trip on White Bear Lake. Residents enjoyed our Captain Sam and his wonderful crew who helped make this afternoon memorable for us all. We learned history of the lake and pointed out many interesting facts such as the different kinds of sail boats, saw many beautiful homes like Marjorie Mcneely’s who was the founder of the Conservatory, and took in some beautiful wildlife. Lunch at the Little Venetian and Making Jewelry

Lunch at the Little Venetian today. Great food with good friends. Later that afternoon residents helped start to put some necklaces and bracelets together for Lily of the Valley Orphanage whom we have adopted. It was a great start , but many more to go!
