Trip to the Minnesota State Capitol

Many residents came to visit the Minnesota State Capital this afternoon to see all the renovations. Fun to hear how some residents had family that fought during the Civil War and one even worked here when she was 17 years old. The history was so amazing to hear about. Made to Order Breakfast and Fun with Trudi!

Wednesday many showed up to enjoy our monthly “Made to Order Breakfast”. Management all pitched in to make this morning eventful for all. Later that afternoon Trudi came in to get us in the mood for “State Fair Time”. Residents sang along with all the classics they remember. Clay and Watercolor

This week residents had fun with clay. They created many unique projects from vases to jewelry. Mary was already thinking Christmas as she made a snowman with a baseball cap. The following day some finished up there piece while others jumped into making some place mats with watercolor paints and paper. We will work on them throughout the month for “Meals on Wheels”.
