It feels nice back to be after the holiday to see how the residents are doing and hear about their weekends. Silverwood visited us for our final session this year. The residents created beautiful pictures using ink and watercolors. Silverwood taught us about bird migration. Jill visited Shoreview Senior Living to help residents create “junk art” Christmas trees and wreaths. The residents were innovative. We enjoyed looking through all the fun projects using stuff like bottle caps and dice. This was a perfect project for the holidays! Leo, the dog, also joined us and brought smiles to everyone. Shoreview Senior Living Art Class: Textured Art During a Shoreview Senior Living art class, residents created unique textured masterpieces. Their imaginations were so alive as each had a different idea and turned a little “junk” into something beautiful. Some art pieces were abstract, while some had a theme.
