New Years Party
Residents gathered to say goodbye to 2017 and to welcome 2018. Monroe Wright joined us for a spectacular show with songs from the Mills Brothers and many more. Residents wore their special hats they made and enjoyed delicious appetizers. Kristy and a few Rockettes kicked up their legs to “New York, New York.” We are grateful for each person here who made 2017 an amazing year.

We ended last week with more holiday fun at Shoreview Senior Living’s happy hour. We played a dice game with a gift exchange, which was a big hit. Just when someone thought they had the best gift, someone could roll doubles and steal it! We ended happy hour by singing carols to keep us in the holiday spirit. Tuesday afternoon, residents helped put together some gifts for caregivers, as well as some tea party favors for next week. In the evening, we welcomed back the Children’s Performing Arts of Forest Lake. They put on a wonderful holiday-themed show for the residents. The kids did a great job, and we are so thankful for their time to spread a little holiday cheer. We are looking forward to seeing them again in April.
