Valentine’s Day 2018

Leo, the dog, visited once again and spread some furry love. He played balloon ball in Garden Cove, too! Elon was surprised when he stole the balloon! We also celebrated Ash Wednesday in the morning and Valentine’s Day later in the afternoon. The wonderful treats, tea, and music with Jill made this party so much fun. The room was filled with the LOVE of friends and feelings of beauty within everyone!

Field Trip: Lake Elmo Inn

Thirty-four residents took a trip out for lunch in the glass sunroom at Lake Elmo Inn. The ambiance was beautiful and the food was great. The topic of most conversation was the Super Bowl. It was cool that the restaurant had the leftovers packaged in a tinfoil swan. Reminds me of my grandma, who neatly folded every piece of foil in her drawer. Happy Hour: Jim and Dan

Jim and Dan joined us for happy hour. They sang many good tunes. The residents loved Roger Miller’s “Dang Me” and Eddie Arnold’s “Make the World Go Away.” Many danced, but everyone sang. What a good time for everyone to get together, let go, and live some of the old memories through music. It warms the heart and soul in each of us.
