Our group worked on projects, shared ideas, and had a little “Show and Tell” session to show off some personal creations. This crafty activity inspired us to do more and share more often, so we’re looking forward to our next get-together!

At Shoreview Senior Living, we sure do! We recently hosted a cookout event featuring a festive and delicious meal. Everyone dressed for the occasion, with hats and bandanas and mustaches. We enjoyed good food and great company. Yee-haw!
We are so proud of our Veterans here at Shoreview Senior Living. To show our gratitude and respect, we hosted a program in their honor that included music and a heartfelt message from our director.
It was a true privilege to recognize these Veterans in November, and we are so lucky to have them in our community.
Residents at Shoreview Senior Living wanted our service men and women to know that we’re thinking about them this holiday season. Sending cards and notes is a great way to do that, so that’s exactly what we did.

Art is a wonderful way to socialize, keep our creative juices flowing, relax, and create nice projects for ourselves, friends, and families. Some of our Southview residents recently got together to create with watercolor and catch up with one another.
Residents at Shoreview Senior Living recently enjoyed a live music performance. Our evening with the Pistachio Singers was full of wonderful show tunes, hymns, choral music, and laughter. It’s always a joy to host this talented group!
The Centennial Stompers play their music with gusto, and they treated us to a performance at Shoreview Senior Living. The fun they have is obvious, and we can’t help but tap our feet and clap along. We enjoy them so much!

In celebration of Oktoberfest, our staff hosted a tasty German meal for all Shoreview Senior Living residents. Spätzle and German potato salad were among the many items to enjoy. We had so much fun getting to know one another and learning about each other’s heritage. 🍻🥨
Our Shoreview Senior Living Halloween Social was a great time to get together, socialize, enjoy ice cream sundaes, and see the great costumes worn by our residents and staff. 🎃
We recently had a special guest say hello from outside the windows of Shoreview Senior Living. Teresa enjoyed a cup of coffee and a visit from “Bunny,” who was very busy cleaning up the garden for winter. 🐇
Staff members from the nature center at Silverwood Park paid a visit and taught us about cartography, which is the study and practice of making and using maps. We used what we learned by painting a favorite lake, complete with different colors to show water depth!
Friday afternoon ice cream socials are always a hit for members in Shoreview’s Garden Cove North and West communities. There’s no better way to welcome a summer weekend than getting together for tasty sundaes, catchy tunes, good conversation, and plenty of laughs! 🍨🍦🙂
For Father’s Day, the men of Shoreview Senior Living enjoyed time conversing together over pizza, beer, and soda! They relaxed with good food and drinks, learned more about each other, and even laughed at a some classic dad jokes. 😉😆🍻🍕

Residents of Shoreview Senior Living were tapping their toes, clapping their hands, and having a great time listening to the Centennial Stompers! Miss Maisy is always so funny and it’s such a treat whenever she stops by. We also love visiting with our sweet Labrador friend, Winthrop! 🐶🎶

Shoreview’s spring Ladies’ Tea Social was a hit! We enjoyed lovely live music from Tara Brueske, delicious cheesecake, and a lot of fun conversation. Many attendees also received door prizes, including stunning flower arrangements from an anonymous donor! 🫖🎼💐

Who says we can’t have our own Mardi Gras parade? Shoreview Senior Living staff put on a fun-filled indoor parade complete with music, beads, silly costumes, and goodies. Everyone had a blast and we’re excited to do this new tradition again next year!

Here’s Jenny’s beautiful submission, as well as a photo of her holding her prize: a pot of Spring bulbs peeking out of the soil (complete with a groundhog, of course). She also won a free meal. What a joy it is to sing as a group! We like to get together and sing tunes from a variety of genres: folk, pop, country, spiritual, and even silly songs! 🎶🎤
