Happy Hour with Barbra Lee!
Friday, Barbra Lee joined us for happy hour! She had residents singing all their favorites, even Casey joined in to sing “This Little Light of Mine!” She added humor and engaged each resident. We also found out Charlotte was the oldest resident in the room at 97 beautiful years! You would never know, she is gorgeous. I even joined one of our new residents, Dick, with dancing the Waltz. Friday we had an intense game of Farkle before Happy Hour where we welcomed Monroe Wright at our “Bandshell!” Such an amazing singer. He sang all the classics and even had residents up on there feet dancing. Residents also enjoyed some food on a stick which topped off the afternoon.

Before Happy hour we played some cards and Richard taught some residents how to play the domino game, Mexican Train. During Happy hour we celebrated this months Birthdays. Joe is a new performer who stopped by to introduce himself to us and won us over with his music. We ended with some sing-a-long as a group and a little humor with Linda.
