We had a fun afternoon with some group Karaoke! It was a hit with everyone. Isn’t it amazing how music can open someone up, especially when they have a microphone in their hand? They all put in requests for more songs and look forward to next time.

Residents started getting into the Irish mood by making some shamrocks. It was a unique process where we started with a few strips of paper, but then they turned out very festive. It’s no blarney that we are ready for St. Patrick’s Day!!!

On Friday, Jim Berner joined us for a fun afternoon made up of music and happy times. We enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while listening to all the great hit songs we remember. There were even a few sing-a-longs like Take Me Out to the Ball Game, You are My Sunshine, and When You’re Smiling. Residents had fun dancing to the Hokey Pokey and the Chicken Dance. What a great way to start the weekend!
