On Tuesday, a group of us took a trip to Lake Elmo for lunch at the Machine Shed.  They had great service and food, and the atmosphere was so much fun! Cheers to the holidays!!

American Swedish Institute

We took a trip to the American Swedish Institute. The Turnblad Mansion was built in the 1800s by a Swedish immigrant. Christmas at the American Swedish Institute is a special time with different rooms decorated in various Scandinavian traditions. The architecture and craftsmanship of the building were phenomenal to see. The tour guide brought us to each room and educated us about how things were accomplished in that time period. Life Could Be a Dream

A group of residents visited the beautiful Old Log Theater for an exciting afternoon. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in the dining area, then watched a musical called “Life Could Be a Dream”. The show was spectacular! The actors are truly talented and put on a terrific performance!
