Field Trip: Cosetta’s Italian Market
Residents of Shoreview Senior Living headed down to Cosetta’s Italian Market in St Paul. A wonderful place to go for a bit to eat. Many recall when it used to be just one room back in the early 1900s. Now over 100 years old, it is three stories tall, and the food was terrific! We started out the morning by singing some hymnns before Mass. Later in the afternoon, we decorated cookies and everyone brought a few home for themselves. Maria wasn’t too sure what to do after she dropped a cookie in the green icing. I bet it was still delicious. Residents also learned to make scarves from recycled yarn. They made one special for Leo, the dog, too.
