Junk Trees
Jill visited Shoreview Senior Living to help residents create “junk art” Christmas trees and wreaths. The residents were innovative. We enjoyed looking through all the fun projects using stuff like bottle caps and dice. This was a perfect project for the holidays! Leo, the dog, also joined us and brought smiles to everyone. Shoreview Senior Living Art Class: Textured Art During a Shoreview Senior Living art class, residents created unique textured masterpieces. Their imaginations were so alive as each had a different idea and turned a little “junk” into something beautiful. Some art pieces were abstract, while some had a theme. Happy Hour: German Pretzels Linda made German pretzels with the residents for the last Shoreview Senior Living Happy Hour in October. The warm pretzels turned out terrific! They served them with some warm cheese for dipping. It brought back many memories as they rolled out the dough by hand.
