Special Visitors | March Activities

This week at Shoreview Senior Living, we had lovely special visitors who were ready to share their love of music with the residents.

Visit from Saint Odilia

On Tuesday morning, the 4th grade students from Saint Odilia came to spend some time with the residents. Some kids made Easter wreaths for their doors, while others just spent some quality time talking with the residents. It was so special and rewarding. One group even sang “Let It Snow” as it began snowing outside. Father Stiles was visiting the same day for confessions with the residents. Kids thought it was cool to run into him. They were a terrific bunch of students, and we look forward to seeing them next week.

Trudi’s Irish Blessings

Trudi came in on Wednesday afternoon to help us continue celebrating this month’s Irish blessings. Residents sang along with all their favorite tunes and laughed at a few limericks. She even brought Aria, her grandson, with to help run the show.

“School House Rock” Performance

On Wednesday evening, Jill came in with her cast. They performed “School House Rock” for the residents. These kids were filled with talent and did a spectacular job. We are so grateful for the opportunity to have Jill and her crew come and do a rehearsal show before their big night. Thank you Jill for bring us such an amazing show!!
