Decorating for Christmas

Tuesday turned out to be such a busy day. We started getting ready for the holidays by putting up Christmas trees and adding beautiful decor. Anne learned how to make bows for all our Poinsettia plants. Later in the day, we celebrated our hard work with live music from the Maple Street Ramblers. Birds & Painting

It feels nice back to be after the holiday to see how the residents are doing and hear about their weekends. Silverwood visited us for our final session this year. The residents created beautiful pictures using ink and watercolors. Silverwood taught us about bird migration. It was interesting to learn why birds fly in a v, that hummingbirds travel together, and loons migrate from northern lakes to coastal ocean waters. Silverwood played sounds of the …
