2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Recap
The Twin Cities 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s was a huge success this year! Over 1.3 million dollars was raised with 6,632 participants and 744 teams, the Southview Senior Communities team being one of them. Our team members that came out to walk the 1 or 2.3 mile option from Shoreview Senior Living had a blast helping to raise awareness and funds to fight the Alzheimer’s disease. Monday we had Silverwood Nature Center come in and talk about fall leaves. We learned so much about how they change color and when the peak season will be this year. I think we scheduled our fall scenic cruise the right week!! After some education residents created a beautiful layered fall picture using different mediums.
