Silverwood Nature Center
Today Silverwood Nature Center joined us for a wonderful afternoon learning about nature. We heard sounds of various birds and frogs and learned about other creatures as well. Residents also enjoyed creating a tile using things found in nature such as pinecones, leaves, acorns, twigs and bark. Easter Open House Saturday morning. Kids were able to make a fruit loop necklace, decorate their own cookie, color some pictures and play with the Easter Bunny. It was so fun to see the kids excitement and creativity. Residents came down to check it out as well and stayed for the fun. Busy times, so much to do! Adult coloring, Wheel of Fortune and a Meet and Greet with the residents in our new building “The Westsiders”. They enjoyed coffee and pie while getting to know one another. We even found the terrible two “Erma and Ermi”. Think we are continuing to get a GREAT community here at Shoreview Senior Living.
